FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. The University Transit and Parking changed the access designation of two parking lots. Part of lot 62 will be for faculty only, and lot 46W will be for students only.
Lot 62 is located near Bud Walton Arena and Adohi Hall and will be available for faculty parking 24 hours a day, 7 day a week. Lot 46W is by the Dills Tennis Indoor Center but students cannot park there overnight.
“We made it a green lot because that will give students more options in the area,” said David Wilson, communications director for Transit and Parking.
UA Transit routes 48 and 11 have already been changed to pick up students from lot 46W.
The change to lot 62 comes after parking officials noticed students failing to move their car before 7 a.m. Students who have green, orange, or red parking permits can still park there over the weekend.
