FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — On Sunday afternoon, a 19-year-old teen fell from the Yellow Rock trail at Devil’s Den State Park.
An emergency call went out just after 2 p.m. for the teen who fell about 20 to 30 feet.
The Round Mountain Volunteer Fire Department responded to the call and had this to say.
“We set up a raise/lower system and lowered Captain Harder down approximately 100 feet to the patient. EMS had already stabilized the patient and prepared him for transport. The patient was secured in the littler and we raised the patient and Captain Harder back to the top.”
Central EMS transported the teen to the Washington Regional Medical Center where he is in stable condition.
