FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Students are given the opportunity to save up to three lives if they donate their blood.
The Community Blood Center of The Ozarks teamed up with Pat Walker Health Center to encourage students and faculty to donate blood.
“It makes me feel like a better person,” said Laura Pledger, a student at the University.”
Pledger recommends that everyone donates blood.
According to Dr. Mink, Director of wellness and and health promotion, donating blood is a good way to practice wellness in your own life.
“There might be someone out there that needs your blood type. It’s not that bad, and it makes me feel better,” Pledger said.
