FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— The University of Arkansas Staff Senate offers a program where the staff has the opportunity to help colleagues and their families.
The program is called RazorGifts, and it debuted in 2015 for the holiday season.
Michael Rau is the Student Support Coordinator in the Office of Special Programs for the university. He said the program has been very successful.
“Last year, we helped 10 families,” he said. “Everyone who applied was accepted and was able to receive gifts.”
The application is open for university staff who want to participate and will close at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 15.
Applications can be found online at the Staff Senate’s RazorGifts page.
Rau said he is happy he helped start the program and he encourages others to sign up.
“It’s a great program and I think it’s a really great way for staff to give back to other staff.”
