FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.— Dave Cullen spoke at the University of Arkansas tonight about his book Columbine and Parkland: Birth of a Movement.
Cullen talked about the various stories of survivors and others involved in mass shootings that he came across researching his New York Times bestseller.
Dr. Josette Cline, the director of CAPS, talked about what would happen if there was a mass shooting at the University of Arkansas.
“We would initially is like what the Red Cross does when they get a disaster,” Cline said. “Make sure everyone has their basic needs meet.”
The lecture’s overarching theme is to inspire hope from these tragic events.
