FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Students across campus are observing the start of It’s On Us Week.
This weeklong event focuses on prevention of sexual assault on college campuses.
Greek life on campus is in charge of the week of festivities, hosting several activities that will culminate Friday. Each day will revolve around a different theme and the events will reflect that.
University of Arkansas student, Sydney Vickers is hopeful for the impact this week will have.
“I think awareness is important, so that we properly help victims, male or female,” Vickers said.
It’s On Us was created by former President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden and has grown ever since.
