FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.– The goats of Northwest Arkansas are hoofing there way back to the hill for a little spring cleaning of Wilson Park.
The goats are brought in a few times each year to eat honeysuckle, privet, poison ivy and other invasive vegetation as part of the parks department’s efforts to manage overgrown areas of the park. The goats will be busy clocking in from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Tuesday, April 23 through Sunday, April 27.
The event is open to the public on the South side of the park.
For more information on the project, contact Kristina Jones at the Parks and Recreation Department, at parksvolunteer@fayetteville-ar.gov.
