Career Resources Become More Broad on Campus

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Career resources will soon be expanding at the University of Arkansas.

The Career Development Center will be introducing the Career Studio in the fall.

The center will use student peer mentors to increase their advising capabilities.

Students will be able to drop-in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the studio will provide resume critiques, mock interviews, job search assistance, and selecting a major.

Alexa Goodwin, an applicant for a mentor position at the Career Studio, said she’s eager to help others.

“I’m interested in the job because of the opportunity to help others and the chance to give them access to campus resources they may not have known about otherwise,” said Goodwin.

The studio will be located in the Career Development Center on the sixth floor of the Arkansas Union.
