FAYETTEVILLE, Ark – The section of Stadium Drive between Union Service Drive and Meadow Street will be closed to traffic from March 11-22. Detour routes will be posted for drivers and pedestrians.
The facilities management project is to improve roads, drainage and lighting along Stadium Drive. The project will include widening sidewalks, new pedestrian lighting for safety, additional drainage to prevent flooding, replacement of sewer lines, relocating a gas line and repairs to potholes.
Stadium drive will be used as a detour route while highway 112 is under construction this summer so expect the project to be done quickly.
