Group Honors Student Organizations

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – An organization honors registered student groups by allowing students to nominate them for awards.

The Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience (SOOIE) is asking students for nominations on their favorite registered student organizations (RSOs).

The nominations include Outstanding RSO, Outstanding New RSO, Outstanding RSO Program, Outstanding RSO Advisor and more.

SOOIE President Ally Davis said the nominations are to recognize the constant work RSOs and their member put in.

“The point is to recognize their hard work that they put in on top of being a full time student,” said Davis. “They bring a unique aspect of diversity to our campus, and help students find a niche on campus or where they might belong.”

Applications for nominations are available on HogSync and close on Saturday, March 30 at 11:59 p.m.

The banquet, where winners are announced, is set for Wednesday, April 17 at 7 p.m.
