FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Students looking for a way to relieve the stress of midterms can enjoy a night of gaming.

University Programs will host a 2K tournament for those students who are going through the struggles of midterms and want to support their favorite NBA team. The competition allows students to form teams and compete all the way to the championships, where they will prove who is the master of the controller.

“Gaming relieves stress because it puts players in a virtual reality,” said Jaylen Spiller, a second year Computer Science major. “College has enough troubles as it is, gaming provides an immersive experience where people don’t have to focus on real world issues.”

Top players in the tournament will be awarded with gift cards.
