PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark.- Four minors were arrested and charged with commercial burglary on Wednesday.
The suspects ranged from fourteen to sixteen years old. They were located throughout Washington and Benton Counties. They were also charged with Theft of a Firearm and Criminal Mischief.
The teenagers broke into an Ace Hardware in Prairie Grove on February 15. “In total 77 firearms were stolen,” said officer Standifer of the Prairie Grove police department. The suspects smashed through the glass door as well as the glass cases containing the rifles and handguns.
The authorities were only able to recover some of the firearms. An ongoing investigation is in place to locate the rest.
