FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Associated Student Government hosts Safety Week beginning Monday.
The goal of the event is to bring awareness to five important safety topics including the Safe Ride program and sexual assault awareness.
“The whole idea behind Safety Week is to raise awareness for the resources that the University provides in regards to safety,” said Director of Student Safety Maria Calderon. “We thought it was a really good idea to plug students into the resources that they pay for.”
The events are free, but students are asked to bring their student IDs to be swiped for assessment purposes.
Safety Week will be held in the Arkansas Union from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. February 18-22.
