FAYETTEVILLE, Ar. – A Texan comedian known for her time on MTV and HBO is coming to the Arkansas Union Theater.

Dallas-native Jamie Lee is a stand-up comedian, TV writer, and actress. Lee is one of the main cast members on MTV’s “Girls Code,” where women discuss different issues they deal with in day-to-day life.

Lee has also appeared on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” “Chelsea Lately,” and “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” She was a semi-finalist in on “Last Comic Standing.”

Masters of the Department of Communications student Brittan Andres knows Jamie Lee from online and said she’s interested in the show.

“She’s funny, and if it’s free I’ll definitely go,” Andres said.

Lee’s show will take place on Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. at the Union Theater at the University of Arkansas. The show is sponsored by University Programs and is free for anyone interested.
