FAYETTEVILLE, AR — The University of Arkansas will be closed Nov. 21-25 for Thanksgiving break. This also means the University Parking and Transit Offices will also close. This affects busses and safe rides.
According to the Parking and Transit website, The U of A bus routes will be on schedule until 6pm tomorrow night, November 21. Safe Ride will not run any days declared a break by the University.
Although the UARK campus is closed to classes, The University’s Transit and Parking reminds students that some parking regulations still apply. Students driving a motor vehicle cannot block driving areas or anywhere that is not a clear designated parking area, meaning designated with a colored parking sign. The parking regulations for athletic events also still applies.
There are home basketball games scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 21, and Friday, Nov. 23.
Here is the final schedule from its UARK Website:
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 21 – Razorback Transit will be running the weekday service from 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. There will be no night service.
NOVEMBER 22-25 – Razorback Transit will be closed. There will be no buses running on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. (Ordinarily buses run on Saturdays, but not on Thanksgiving weekend).
NOVEMBER 21-25 – Safe ride will be closed.
