FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Not traveling home for the Thanksgiving Holidays? Maybe you just do not want to deal with buying and preparing a homemade turkey. No need to panic. There are several restaurants staying open on Thanksgiving Day.
These restaurants will all be serving customers this thanksgiving:
-Emila’s Kitchen on Dickson St.
-6494 Bistro in the Chancellor Hotel
-Ella’s in the Inn at Carnall Hall.
Village Inn on N. College Ave.
-Golden Carrol on N. College Ave.
-IHop on W. Wedington Drive.
“We have a lot of regulars and we always serve a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving. We like to serve the family’s close by and rather than making the mess at home we want to serve them here.” said Village Inn manager, Sydney Spain.
But several Fayetteville local restaurants like Sassy’s Red House, Geraldi’s, Hugo’s, Penguin Ed’s Bar-B-Que, JJ’s Bar and Grill, and Hammontree’s Grilled Cheeses close on Thanksgiving Day.
When asked why they choose to close on the Thanksgiving Holiday, Manager of Hammontrees, Jason Rich said, “The owner wants us the spend this holiday time with our friends and family.”
Whether you are traveling home for this thanksgiving Holiday or just staying here in Fayetteville, UATV wishes you a Happy Thanksgiving.
