FAYETTEVILLE, Ark- Veoride bikes made their home here on campus one month ago. Over 6,000 students rode more that 16,500 miles since Voeride’s arrival. With that kind of exposure and use the company created new “hubs”for bikes to rest.
These “hubs” are located in high demand areas around popular routes in town. Veoride started moving bikes from quiet places to these high trafficked “hubs” for easier pick up by users. Along with the “hubs”, GPS trackers in the bikes make locating your ride simple.
The Veoride app shows 340 bikes in the area that can be rented out during the day. As always Veoride encourages riders to park their bikes at a bike rack, or new “hub” rather than on a sidewalk, or near a busy road.
There are 7 hubs on campus, some being near Old Main, Maple Hill and Reid dorms, and The Union. Along with that 4 “hubs” sit off-campus near the Downtown Square.
