FAYETTEVILLE, Ark- Sexual assault and harassment remains a steady issue on college campuses. STAR Central and Legal Aid of Arkansas joined forces to create a new service that caters to victims of sexual assault.
The program, Sexual Assault Resources and Help, or “SARAH”, offers weekly counseling Tuesdays from 1 to 3 in the afternoon in the Wellness Center by the Garland parking garage. Everything discussed during the gatherings remains confidential so victims can receive the guidance they need.
Some ladies might notice the informational stickers placed in women’s restrooms. These stickers list helpful tips and instructions on how to report sexual and relationship violence.
