FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Students have the chance to win $100 dollars off their parking permits for the school year. University of Arkansas’s Parking and Transit announced this promotion through their social media sites. Ten students who follow Parking and Transit on social media will be chosen at random to receive the $100 off. The drawing that will be held on Halloween.
The communications director for UA Transit and Parking David Wilson said, “The promotion is one that we did during the last school year as well. It is done to help increase our followers on social media and as a way of reaching out to the students we serve.”
This promotion helps with on site traffic and will benefit the publication of their new website as well. In addition to the regular department website, Parking and Transit will be launching a WordPress website this week. The new site is called Talk T&P. It will be a source to find additional important information involving the department and campus. The website will provide useful details on campus events and general public information.
