FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art will host “Multi-Sensory Saturday” which will feature several gallery activities that focus on access and inclusion of all senses.
Crystal Bridges formed a partnership with the Northwest Arkansas Disability Month Committee to host the event in observation of Disability Awareness Month.
Director of Crystal Bridges Rod Bigelow says the event is an attempt to attract a diverse groups of people to the museum.
“Crystal Bridges was founded with the spirit of access to all. An essential element of access is inviting the whole community into the museum and embracing all the cultures that make up America. The museum proactively presents programs in association with community partners like Sources and the NWA Disability Awareness Month Committee to create inclusive experiences for all.”
The event will take place October 27 from 11 to 2. It is also a free event so no tickets or registration are required to attend.
