Opioid Exhibit in Arkansas Union Last Day

by Peter Roulier

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Today is the last day for students to experience the Opioid Awareness Exhibit in the Arkansas Union on campus.

The wall on the exhibit features 22,000 white pills. The pills are meant to represent the 22,000 people that lost their life to overdoses due to opioids.

Arkansas had 169 people die in 2015 alone due to overdosing on opioids.

The exhibit has been on display since October 3rd.
