Motorcycle Safety Rules

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- Throughout the course of Bikes, Blues, and BBQ it is important to continue to take safety precautions while riding through town.

The same rules apply to motorcycle riders as they do for scooter riders here on campus.

“If you’re riding on the street, highways, or roadways, you have to have a driver license, you have to have eye protection whether you’re on a motorcycle or a scooter,” Corporal Allen Porter said.

Helmets are optional, but are highly recommended. However, eye wear must be worn at all times while riding.

It is recommended to be alert for an increase in traffic, pedestrians and motor vehicles, especially on Dickson Street.
