FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.–Students looking for a coffee fix on Dickson Street this week may be disappointed when they pull into the parking lot at the old train depot.
Arsaga’s at the Depot will be closed from September 24-30 due to the coming surge of motorcyclists.
Bikes, Blues and Barbeque will be rolling into town September 26 and staking its claim on Dickson Street until September 29.
Arsaga’s loses their parking lot to vendors and VIP bike parking.
They won’t be the only locally-owned store closing down during the bike rally. Nightbird Books, located just east of Arsaga’s on Dickson Street, will be closed from September 26-30.
“Bikes, Blues, and Barbeque basically takes over our parking lot and we don’t get any business from it,” said cashier Harrison Stanfill.
The rally will bring in live music, a beauty pageant and bull riding, as well as over 400,000 bikers.
Both stores will re-open the following Monday so coffee and book lovers can enjoy their favorite things.
