FAYETTEVILLE, Ark — Fayetteville ranks as the 12th highest city for driving under the influence (DUI) arrests in a report put out by Insurify, an American insurance company.
Nationally, DUIs are on the decline, but according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention 29 people die every day from drunk driving accidents.
3.59 percent of Fayetteville drivers have a DUI; totaling 127 percent higher than the national average. The average city reports 1.58 percent of drivers with DUIs.
