FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – This week marks the University’s first annual Opioid and Substance Abuse Awareness Week.
A discussion panel takes place Thursday the 26th in Reynolds Auditorium at 5 p.m.
One of the panelists includes Arkansas Drug Director, Kirk Lane.
According to the National Institute on Drugs, in 2016 Arkansas had 169 opioid related deaths.
