New State of the Air Report Released for Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The American Lung Association released a “State of the Air” report Wednesday, April 18th for the state of Arkansas.

The report shows the state decreased in pollution of the ozone layer, comparatively to last year. Arkansas as a state is mainly agricultural economically and ranks higher in air quality than more industrial states.

Seven major Arkansas cities, including Fayetteville were on the national list for cleanest cities of particle pollution and low in ozone pollution.

However, Little Rock ranked at 24th of the most polluted cities in the country.
