Tornado Leaves Damage in One Local Town

MOUNTAINBURG, Ark. – Over the weekend an EF-2 tornado ripped through the local town of Mountainburg, Ark. Leaving homes damaged.

In order for a tornado to be classified as an EF-2, winds must reach past 120 miles per hour. According to Crawford County emergency management, to get state assistance there would need to be $228,000 worth of damage.

Governor Asa Hutchinson went to Mountainburg Sunday to thank volunteers and meet with residents.
