Fraternity Members Held at Gun Point Outside Their House

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A man is in custody after allegedly pointing a gun at someone and threatening them, said Fayetteville police.

It was early Wednesday morning when Ryan Torres, 21, of Fort Worth, Texas stopped his truck outside the Kappa Sigma Fraternity house on 711 W. Dickson Street to confront a group of members. Police said he threatened them to go inside and when they did not he pulled out the gun. No one was injured during the incident.

Police also said Torres had been drinking since earlier in the night. He was charged for driving while intoxicated after breathing a Blood Alcohol Content level of .12. The legal BAC level to drive over the age of 21 in Arkansas is .08.
