FAYETTEVILLE, Ark.- The newest Washington county sheriff’s deputy may be the youngest yet. 4-year-old Matthew Guess was visited by Washington county sheriff’s deputies on Sunday so they could swear him in as an honorary deputy.
Guess is currently recovering at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock after he was attacked by two pitbulls in Washington county. He has severe injuries to his face and legs, and he will reportedly need facial reconstruction surgery.
