FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – A smoking ban, which was approved by the city council last month is now in full effect.
It is now illegal to smoke in all of Fayetteville’s parks and trails.
Along with cigarettes, lighted pipes, cigars, vapor devices and e-cigs, the ban also includes all forms of smokeless tobacco.
Signs will soon be posted to inform the public of the new law.
Failure to abide by the law could result in a $50 fine.
