FAYETTEVILLE, Ark – The fifth ranked Arkansas Razorbacks capped off their long road trip this weekend.
Unfortunately, the men fell short to Ole Miss 2 – 1. After the first game the Hogs trailed just by one point each time on Friday and Saturday.
Freshman Heston Kjerstad had an impressive game, just missing a triple that would have completed the cycle. Kjerstad collected his seventh home run this season, which ties him at the top for the team lead.
Another area that the young gun leads in is batting average. Kjerstad has hit .455 over the eight game streak, and also leads the field in all statistics.
The team is back at Baum tomorrow to face- off against ULM. The first pitch is set for 6:30 pm.
