FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The School of art will be hosting a thesis art exhibit with artist Alexis Kurtzman called “subject to Change.”
Kurtzman wishes to display “various degrees of chance operations” in her art. The art method is described as a hybrid fixed method and explores collaboration, strategies, control and working under pre-fixed intervals.
Kurtzman has dedicated the past three years to her artwork and describes them as “a whirlwind,” but she values the lessons she learned. She hopes to stay in Fayetteville and get a job teaching art in the future.
The exhibit will have its opening reception on Friday, March 30th at 5 p.m. “Subject to Change” will be open from March 31st until April 27th.
