FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Novelist, essayist and professor of creative writing at the University of California at Riverside, Laila Lalami, will visit the University of Arkansas Campus to read from her novel The Moor’s Account.
A finalist for the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for fiction, The Moor’s Account is about a Moroccan slave who is the first black explorer of America.
Copies of, The Moor’s Account, will be available to buy and have signed after the reading.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. in Giffels Auditorium (MAIN 201).
