FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. – The University of Arkansas will celebrate International Women’s Day in the Arkansas Union International Connections Lounge. Events will take place all day.
This day brings awareness to gaps in women’s rights across the world. This event is also meant to reflect on the achievements and contributions women have made world-wide.
In the Union there will be a “Women of the World Photo Gallery”, International Women’s Day Booth, A Thank You Note Booth, Flower Distribution, and a Fashion Show.
Events will start at 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m on March 8.
