FAYETTEVILLE, Ark – University of Arkansas and Chartwells Dining team up to take on an initiative that gives back to the community.
U of A students volunteer to help fill 300 “Matter Boxes” with healthy snacks and a light-hearted letter for local children in after-school programs.
The goal is to encourage younger kids to eat healthy and to remind them of their importance to the local community.
Students will be packing up the boxes from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 1st in the Arkansas Union.
