FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Don Schaefer, 84, passed away Feb. 15th, 2018 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Schaefer worker for University Relations, previously known as the University of Arkansas Division of Information, for 25 years. He updated the university map every year among other projects he was involved with that benefited the university.
After retiring in 1995, Schaefer continued to document the history of more than 80 campus buildings.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow, Feb. 23rd 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
