Clown Sighting in Northwest Arkansas

I’m standing on Old Farmington road, behind me a three story house that used to be known for it’s Christmas lights around the holiday season.

This is where Farmington Police say they first received reports of two people dressed as clowns wandering through the neighborhood late Sunday night.

According to reports, these clowns did not have a weapon, but police responded to the area because of suspicious behavior.

Police say this was most likely a prank, but clowning around this holiday season could come at a cost.

“People don’t, in the heat of the moment, they don’t see fake. They see somebody dressed as a clown coming at them, something like that, and it’s a dangerous situation.

Police say if you’re dressed as a clown on someone else’s property, even if it’s just a prank, you could be charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.
