The U of A might be adopting a new creed.
A student committee on campus drafted the “Old Main Oath” for the university last fall.
Other universities in the S-E-C have creeds like the Old Main Oath which prompted ASG to create one for the U of A.
The oath outlines the values of the campus and acknowledges what makes the university unique.
Students can vote to support the ‘Old Main Oath’ next week during the general election.
