FAYETTEVILLE, ARK.–
Fayetteville has been growing more and more each year and with growth comes attention.
The 2016 U.S News and World Report ranked the best places to live in the U.S. and Fayetteville, Arkansas came in third on the list.
The report based out of Washington, D.C. and analyzed the 100 largest metro areas in the nation. The cities were ranked on quality of life, job market health, value and cost of living and desirability to live there.
Roughly two-thirds of the U.S. population lives within one of the metropolitan areas on the Best Places to Live list.
The city also received high praise for its low average commute time, mild climate, low unemployment rate, student college readiness, and its crime rate, which is lower than similarly sized cities.
The top five on the list in order are Denver, Austin, Texas, Fayetteville, Raleigh-Durham, NC and Colorado Springs, CO.
