Arkansas Welcomes Donald Trump

Presidential candidate Donald Trump visited Arkansas on Saturday just days before Super Tuesday.

The republican front-runner addressed a crowd of thousands in an airplane hanger at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport. He was clear on his core messages: his plan to impose a 35% import tax on all trade deals, build a wall along the border of Mexico and create and protect American jobs. Throughout the rally, Trump continued the insults towards other republican candidates Cruz and especially Rubio. Trump repeatedly calling Marco Rubio, “sweaty” and making jabs at his “big ears”.

The rally began with an unexpected visitor, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie. Christie exited the plane ahead of Trump, solidifying his endorsement for the frontrunner. Similar to Trump’s speech, the Governor continually spent his time attacking Florida Senator Marco Rubio.

In the interview following the rally, Trump responded to questions with promises of more jobs for millennial graduates and developing plans to attack student loan debt saying he has a plan “in motion”.

This is Trump’s last visit to NWA before Super Tuesday.
