For one day only, “The Boot,” one of college football’s biggest, heaviest trophies, will be on display at the Arkansas Union. Students, faculty, staff, and the public are invited to visit the Union Living Room from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, and take their photo with the huge trophy.
“It’s The Boot, and people love it,” said Union Director Rob Stagni. “We hope people get to come take their picture with it, just like last year.” The Arkansas Union will have selfie sticks on hand, as well as individuals stationed near the trophy to assist with photos. Those taking photos are asked to use the #KeptTheBoot hashtag in social media posts to help promote the win. Visitors will also receive Boot-themed cake.
Arkansas fans are encouraged to show up strong this weekend, as Mississippi State visits Fayetteville to take on the Razorbacks at home.
