THREE INJURED IN INDIANAPOLIS SHOOTING

Police are searching for a shooter who injured three people in Indianapolis.

Shots were fired around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday near Washington Square Mall’s Target store. The victims’ injuries are not life-threatening, but one is in serious condition.

Police say it was a targeted incident. Brian Mahone, Deputy Chief of Operations for the Indianapolis Police Department, says it appears the suspect entered the mall and approached someone he knew. The two had words before the suspect fired his weapon.

Officials say they hope the victims will help identify the shooter. Police are looking for one man, but say there may be a second suspect.
