Free Homecoming Week Concert Wednesday night: Mikky Ekko Performs at The Gardens

Headliners Concert Committee and University Programs hosts Mikky Ekko at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28, in the Gardens, at the University of Arkansas.

Mikky Ekko will be performing at the University of Arkansas during Homecoming Week on Wednesday, Oct. 28. The concert will be held in the Gardens at 7 p.m., and will open with Morgan’s Band. Mikky Ekko moved to Nashville, Tennessee, after high school to enroll in a music business course at a community college. He began writing songs and recording a cappella versions of them on his own. Later in 2009 he met some producers and released his first EP, “Strange Fruit.” His songs have premiered on Grey’s Anatomy, Orange is the New Black, Homeland, Pretty Little Liars, and in the Paper Towns trailer. Ekko is also featured in Rihanna’s song “Stay” from her album Unapologetic. His debut album, Time, is available now on iTunes. Don’t miss your chance to see Mikky Ekko at the University of Arkansas!
