Tuesday evening a little before seven o’clock, a woman, Michelle Westfall-Edwards, was hit by a car. The accident occurred on Razorback Road near Meadow Street. The 46 year old female is not a student at the University of Arkansas, but is a U of A graduate. UAPD Captain Gary Crain says she is in Washington Regional Hospital.
The driver is a young female who is an undergrad for the U of A. She was not injured from the accident, but Crain describes her as very shaken up. The scene is still under investigation, but Crain says it looks like Edwards was not in a crosswalk.
