Three new documentary films produced by students in the Walter J. Lemke Department of Journalism will premiere in a showcase screening at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, in Kimpel Hall Room 102.
The films are:
- Maker: The Art of Terry Borman profiles a Fayetteville craftsman who makes violins that are played by some of the finest classical musicians in the world.
- All the News That’s Fit to Click explores the world of online journalism through a collection of local reporters at the Fayetteville Flyer, The City Wire, Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Blue Hog Report blog.
- Slithering Home takes viewers into the world of those who keep venomous snakes as pets.
The filmmakers will be available to answer questions and discuss their experiences producing the films.
