According to an email sent out to students from UA Parking and Transit, many may be affected by the increased traffic in the service area and passengers should expect delays to the regular published schedules during Bikes, Blues, and BBQ on September 23rd through the 26th.
The Purple and Purple Reduced Routes will not experience any stop closures, but schedules will be impacted heavily and passengers should expect delays Wednesday the 23rd through Saturday the 26th.
The Brown Route and the Green Reduced Route will experience stop closures with little prior notification.
The stops affected are listed below:
- Highland and Dickson
- Church and Dickson
- Walton Arts Center
- Old Train Depot
- Dickson and Arkansas Ave
- Bell Engineering– Brown Route will stop at Harmon and Dickson for passengers to access Bell Engineering
Once a stop is closed, it will remain closed until the following day.
Wednesday, September 23th
All of the listed stops will close at any time after 12:00 Noon.
Thursday, September 24th
All of the listed stops will close at any time after 8:00 AM.
Friday, September 25th
All of the listed stops will close at any time after 8:00 AM.
Saturday, September 26th
All listed stops will be closed all day.
On Saturday, September 26, there will be delays to the Red Reduced Route and the Blue Reduced Route during the Parade of Power Bike Parade that will depart from the Washington County Fairground area at 4:00 PM.
Normal schedules will resume as soon as possible.
