The University of Arkansas dedicated Champions Hall, the first new classroom building on campus in nearly 8 years, in a ceremony on Tuesday.
With freshman enrollment reaching a record high this fall, the 62,000 square foot building has classrooms, labs, teaching centers, and even a public art display.
Champions Hall also features artwork by Seattle artist Allison Kudla on the first floor, and artist Lenore Thomas on the second floor.
The building is called Champions Hall because the University’s Athletic Department funded a large amount the project.
