State Representative Blames Behavior Problems as Reason for Re-homing Children

In a press conference last week, Arkansas State Representative Harris explained a situation that has a lot of people upset.

He said that him and his wife took three sisters into foster care. But five months later, they returned the oldest to DHS because of behavior problems.

Over time the two others started showing the same behavior problems, one actually crushed the family pet to death.

When they tried to return the girls, he was threatened with abandonment charges and the risk of losing his biological children so, he re-homed them to a family friend.

The girls are now in a different home and have no contact with Harris and his wife.
