One student is taking matters into his own hands after the U of A was slapped with a $25,000 fine.
U of A student Alex Winans created a “Go-Fund-Me” account just days after the Hogs rushed the field after beating rival LSU in the Battle for the Boot.
Winans says the fine by the SEC has been covered, but why not show the booster club and the rest of the conference that the Hogs really are humble.
Winans is encouraging fans to give $5 each, along with tweeting a photo of their gift with the hash-tags #WPS and #fansourcing. As of November 20, $200 has been raised.
