Some local organizations are preparing for Thanksgiving by embracing the spirit of the holiday.
The Springdale Police Department is partnering with Har-Ber schools to provide Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. They’ll assemble and distribute approximately 100 bags filled with turkeys and holiday foods.
And, in Rogers, volunteers at the First Baptist Church will arrive at 5 a.m. Thanksgiving morning to start preparing meals for delivery. The church has been providing the meal delivery service to the Rogers-area for over a decade.
